On Monday night, the Brashear boys headed to Atlanta for a JV basketball game. The Tigers jumped out to a 12-2 lead after 1 quarter, but Atlanta bounced back in the 2nd to pull within 7 before Brashear’s Hayden Housman drained a three quarter court 3-pointer at the buzzer to put Brashear on top 25-15 at halftime. Both teams scored 8 points in the third quarter and 6 in the 4th as Brashear held on for a 39-29 win. For Brashear, Joe Clarkson scored 12 points, Hayden Housman and Taren Treasure had 9 each, Nick Thomas had 7 and Joseph Woods scored 2 points. Brady Bogeart led Atlanta with 12 points, Jesse Likes added 7, Joe Harris scored 4, Bub Rhoades had 3, Dylan Hruska had 2, and Vincent Elrod scored 1 point.
