Willa Mae Gooden

Funeral services for 79-year-old Willa Mae Gooden of Downing, Missouri will be held at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with burial in the Downing City Cemetery in Downing, Missouri.

Willa Mae Gooden passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Missouri.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Cancer Relief Fund.

Officiating the services will be Marilyn Fitzgerald, Pastor of the Scotland County Larger Parrish.

Willa Mae is survived by her two sons, Michael Gooden and partner,
Timothy Grannemann of Columbia, Missouri and Jim Gooden and wife, Tracey of Downing, Missouri; grandchildren, Joel Gooden of Downing, Missouri and special friend, Shayla Watson of Queen City, Missouri and Megan Newlin and husband, Daniel of Centralia, Missouri; one great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Newlin of Centralia, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Judy Gooden of Hannibal, Missouri; nieces and nephews and other family members.

(1929-2017)

Funeral services for 88 year-old Bruce Tague of Wyaconda will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 27 at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis with burial in the Gorin Cemetery
Bruce Tague died Sunday morning, July 23, at Scotland County Hospital.

Visitation is from 12-7 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, at the Gerth Funeral Home with the family present from 5-7 p.m.

A masonic service will be conducted by the Memphis Lodge A.F. & A.M. #16 at 7 p.m. following visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the Gorin Cemetery for maintenance and may be left at or mailed to the Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main St., Memphis, MO 63555.

Mr. Tague is survived by: his children, Charles Tague of Hurdland, Mikel and wife Tammy Tague of Wyaconda, Eddie and wife Louella Tague of Rutledge, and Carla and husband Kenny Fox of Kirksville; daughter-in-law, Paula Tague of Kirksville; a brother, Don “Buck” Tague of Gorin; sisters, Grace Brown of Memphis, Ruth Tague of Edina, and Vera Crandall of Wayland; sister-in-law Charlene and husband Ed See of Gorin; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
