Vetrice Goins

Vetrice Goins, 101, of Memphis, Missouri died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Scotland County Care Center.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2 P.M. at the Memphis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery in rural Scotland County.

Visitation, with family present to greet relatives and friends, will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

A memorial may be made to the Shiloh Christian Children’s Home and may be left at or mailed to Memphis Funeral Home, 378 South Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555.

Dail W. White, 81 of Memphis, Missouri died at his home, Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

Visitation will open on Sunday, August 30th after 12:00 PM with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Memphis Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31st at 10:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Memphis.

Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Wallace W. Gillespie VFW Post 4958 and the Military Funeral Honors Team at Memphis Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Scotland County Cancer Fund or the Scotland County Scholarship Fund. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or church or mailed to Memphis Funeral Home, 378 South Market Street, Memphis, MO 63555.

Surviving are his wife, Doris, two daughters, Michele Drummond and her husband Mark, and Lora Alexander and her husband Stacy all of Memphis.
Six grandchildren; Margaret Owens and her husband Randall of Gillette, WY, Jacqui Onken and her husband Travis, Lexi Howard and her husband Jacob, Morgan, Lindsey and Ashton Alexander all of Memphis, Missouri. Two Great Granddaughters; Eva and Elsa Onken of Memphis.
Also surviving is a brother in law, Don Day of Keokuk, Iowa two sisters in law, Pat Orr and her husband Gerald of Lima, IL and Sharon Roberts and her husband Gerry of Carthage, IL., nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Chris Genkinger, age 41, of Montrose, IA, will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka, MO.

Chris Genkinger died Monday, August 24, 2015 at Fort Madison Community Hospital.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 5:30 p.m. until time of services.

Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left at Wilson Funeral Home.

Officiating at the service will be Pastor Matt Hunt.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah, of Montrose;

daughter, Gracey Marie, of Montrose;

step-daughter, Liz Pezley of Montrose;

Cailyn Spiker, who he helped raise;
