Funeral services for Cathy (Brown) Thomas, 55, of rural Memphis, will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 19 at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis.

Burial will be in the Granger Cemetery.

Cathy Thomas died early Friday morning, June 14, 2013, at her home.

Visitation is from noon until 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, at the Gerth Funeral Home, with the family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

Officiating the service will be the Rev. Mark Boley.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband Randy of the home; her beloved pet, Eddie; mother, Leta Brown of Kahoka; children, Dawn Michelle Graham and husband Peter of Healy, Alaska, Andrea Jenkins, Brooke Nicole Jenkins and her special friend, Andrew Washburn, all of Kahoka; step children, Maranda Ziebarth and husband Shane of Macon, MO and Sandra Swearingen and husband Craig of Memphis; brothers and sisters, Brenda Cochenour and husband Jerry of Arbela, Roy Brown and wife Brenda of Kahoka, Debbie Rudd of Montrose, IA, Beverly Frady and husband Everett of Kirksville, Janet Mattingly and husband Mark of Memphis, and Tami Townsend and husband Rick of Montrose; 13 grandchildren; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rodney and Debbie Thomas of Gorin; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gravesite services for Patricia Evelyn “Pat” Shelton”, 83, of Vevay, Indiana, formerly of Memphis, are at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, at the Memphis Cemetery.

Pat Shelton died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at her home in Vevay.

Officiating the service will be Dan Hite, pastor of the Memphis First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by her husband, Donald, of the home; daughters: Theresa McAdams of Aurora, IN, Nancy Donegan of Vevay, Tina Gutapfel and her husband, Dan of Sunman, IN, Susan Shelton of Madison, IN, Laura Tice and her husband John of Vevay; her sons, Kenneth E. Shelton of Vevay, Paul W. Shelton and his wife Chris of Alvin, TX, and Marvin D. Shelton and his wife Hyong Sun of Fort Hood, TX; sister, Eleanora Hudson of Carthage, IL; 26-grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren.
