Memorial services for 68-year-old LaVerne Jesse Tillett of Worthington, Missouri will be held at the Worthington Baptist Church in Worthington, Missouri on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.

LaVerne Jesse Tillett passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home in Worthington, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Hospice of Northeast Missouri, 201 S. Baltimore, Suite C, Kirksville, Missouri 63501.

Officiating the services will be Roger Bushnell, Pastor of the Worthington Baptist Church in Worthington, Missouri.

Survivors include his wife, Samantha Kay Tillett of Worthington, Missouri; children, Desiree Axelson of Chillicothe, Illinois, Gary Tillett of Canton, Illinois, Dawn Conrady of Dublin, Georgia, Jeffry Tillett and wife, Shelly of Pecatonica, Illinois and Bobbie Wilson and husband, Chuck of New Milford, Illinois; and a grandson, Justin Thomas, whom was raised as their own son from 6 months of age to adulthood of Kirksville, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his father, Jesse Eugene Tillett of Blue Eye, Missouri; 3 brothers, George Tillett and wife, Lois of Roscoe, Illinois, Sam Tillett and wife, Shirley of Rockford, Illinois and Don Radcliff of North Fort Myers, Florida; 1 sister, Patsy Scharping of Punta Gorda, Florida; several nieces and nephews and other family members.

Waving FlagFuneral services for Noah Clatt, 93, of Canton and Memphis, will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 2, at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis.

Noah Clatt died Sunday morning, March 29, 2015 at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.

Visitation is from noon until 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Gerth Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

Burial will be in the Gorin Cemetery.

Officiating the service will be the Rev. Robert C. Moseley, pastor of the Arbela Baptist Church.

Mr. Clatt is survived by his sons, Charles and wife Nonda Clatt of Monroe City; Noah Dennis and wife Connie Clatt of Moncks Corner, SC; and Paul Richard Clatt of Canyon, TX; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and a special friend, Bea Reaves of Memphis.

Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 4 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Keokuk.

Julie Buschling passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 2 p.m. until services at 4 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Keokuk.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the family or “Russell and Ann Gerdin American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Iowa City”.

Officiating at the service will be Pastor Dave Turner.

Funeral services for Loubelle R. Davis, 89, of Memphis will be held at the Payne Funeral Chapel Saturday afternoon, March 28, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Paul Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in the Memphis Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday at Paynes from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 2:00 with the family present to receive friends.
