Memorial services for Thelma Louise Waples, age 82, of rural Alexandria, MO, will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Bluff Springs United Methodist Church with inurnment following in Frazee Cemetery, rural Alexandria.

Thelma Waples died peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home surrounded by family and friends.

Friends may register at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka after 9 a.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Officiating at the service will be Pastor Barb Hagerla.

Survivors include one son:
Justin (Kelly) Waples of Kahoka and their children Raegan, Conner and Mallory;

one daughter,
Lynn Kleine and her daughter, Ashley, of the home;

Funeral Services for Frances “Georgena” Hayes, 92, of Edina, Missouri, will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

Burial will be in the Knox City Cemetery in Knox City, Missouri.

Georgena Hayes passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, Missouri.

Georgena is survived by four children, Jerry Lee and his wife Faye Hayes of Columbia, Missouri, Larry Dean and his wife Cheryl Hayes of Edina, Missouri, Martha Ann “Martie” Scott of Hannibal, Missouri and John William and his wife Sherrie Hayes of Edina, Missouri; a sister, Roberta “June” Shepard of Edina, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Doris Binkley Hayes of Ft. Madison, Iowa; twelve grandchildren, Kimberly Ann and Danny Grant, Staci Lee and Brad Henks, Gena Marie and Brett Patton, Joseph Daniel and Laura Hayes, Amie Lynn and Michael Niemeyer, Kathleen Ellen and Justin Grant, Beverly Ann Hayes, Annette Renee and Cole Mitchell, Kelly William and Lacy Hayes, Michelle Wennette McMullen, Susan Renee and John Paul Begley, and Michael Hayden and Teri Kite; thirty-eight great grandchildren; five great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Pat Smith, 73, of Memphis will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Brock Cemetery,

Pat Smith passed away Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015, at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Mathes and her husband Doug of Memphis, MO and Robyn Smith and her significant other Jeff Grogan of Memphis, MO; one son, Ryan Smith and his wife Alicia of Keokuk, IA; six grandchildren, Aaron Smith and his wife McKenna of Queen City, MO, Kolton Smith and significant other Amber Harrington of West Point, IA, Andrew Mathes and fiance’ Samantha Murphy of Memphis, MO Braydon Smith and significant other Lauren Kerr of Keokuk, IA, Brianna Jobe and Evan Smith of Keokuk, IA; one sister, Barbara Blessing and her husband Henry of Memphis, MO, two brothers, Jim Harvey and his wife Vonda of Magnolia, TX and Dan Harvey and his wife Sandy of Olatha, KS; brother-in-law, Thomas Smith and wife Carol of Purdy, MO along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services for 95-year-old Bill Snedigar formerly of Lancaster, Missouri will be held at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with burial in the St. John’s Cemetery in Livonia, Missouri. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Missouri Military Funeral Honors Team.

Bill Snedigar passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2015 between the hours of 6-8:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.

Memorials have been established for the St. John’s Cemetery in Livonia, Missouri.

IRENE DALTON

Irene Dalton, 94, of Memphis, Missouri, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5th at 1:30 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Memphis. Burial will follow in the Richland Cemetery in rural Scotland County.

A visitation, with the family present to greet relatives and friends will begin at 10 A.M. until 12 noon on Thursday at the First Baptist Church.

Irene Dalton is survived by her five children: William E. Dalton and his wife, Bonnie, of Memphis; Floyd E. Dalton and his wife, Sherry, of Kahoka, Missouri; Kathryn F. Hyde of Danville, Iowa; Elizabeth L. Humes and her husband, Ernest, of Wyaconda, Missouri and Karyon M. Elsea and her husband, Bill, of Greentop, Missouri. Other survivors include seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Loweldene Fincher

Loweldene Fincher, 88, formerly of Downing, Missouri died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Scotland County Care Center.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at the Memphis Funeral Home. Inurnment of the cremains will be in the Downing Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with the family greeting friends will start at 12:30 P.M. until the service time.
