Funeral services for 94 year old Marjorie Peterson of Memphis will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 12 at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Jack Sumption, pastor of the Memphis First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery.

Marjorie Peterson died Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Scotland County Care Center.

Visitation is prior to the service on Wednesday, from 10-11 a.m., at the Gerth Funeral Home.

Gravesite services for 85 year-old Maurine Bradley of Bible Grove will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 16 at the Bible Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.

Maurine Bradley died Friday morning, October 12, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services for 68 year old Dennis Baker of Memphis will be at noon on Saturday, August 18, at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Curtis Ebeling, pastor of the Lighthouse of Faith Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery.

Dennis Baker died Wednesday morning, August 15, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Visitation is prior to the service on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Gerth Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Jasper (Jack) Smock, 78, of Farmington, Arkansas, formerly of Scotland County, will be held on Thursday, July 5th at 11 a.m. in the Gerth funeral chapel. Officiant will be the Wallace W. Gillespie Memorial Post #4958 Post Commander Lloyd Erickson.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral chapel from 10-11 a.m.

Burial will be in the Coffey Cemetery, south of Downing, MO on Route A following the service with military graveside rites conducted by the Wallace W. Gillespie Memorial Post #4958.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne, of the home; son, Dan(Jennifer) of West Fork, Arkansas ; daughter, Debbi (Roger) Benish of Farmington, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Justin (Marion), Cheyenne, and Makenzie; two sisters, Margaret (Harlan) of Lakeland, Florida, and Karen Smith of Memphis; three brothers, Robert (Marilyn) of Roselle, IL, Delbert (Teresa) of Council Bluffs, IA, and Ronald of Omaha, NEB; and generations of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Harriet Louise Poole died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
