Irene Dalton, 94, of Memphis, Missouri, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5th at 1:30 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Memphis. Burial will follow in the Richland Cemetery in rural Scotland County.

A visitation, with the family present to greet relatives and friends will begin at 10 A.M. until 12 noon on Thursday at the First Baptist Church.

Irene Dalton is survived by her five children: William E. Dalton and his wife, Bonnie, of Memphis; Floyd E. Dalton and his wife, Sherry, of Kahoka, Missouri; Kathryn F. Hyde of Danville, Iowa; Elizabeth L. Humes and her husband, Ernest, of Wyaconda, Missouri and Karyon M. Elsea and her husband, Bill, of Greentop, Missouri. Other survivors include seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

To honor Irene’s memory, a memorial contribution may be made to Richland Cemetery and may be left at the church or mailed to Memphis Funeral Home, 378 South Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555.

Loweldene Fincher

Loweldene Fincher, 88, formerly of Downing, Missouri died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Scotland County Care Center.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at the Memphis Funeral Home. Inurnment of the cremains will be in the Downing Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with the family greeting friends will start at 12:30 P.M. until the service time.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be given to the Scotland County Senior Center. They may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 378 South Market St. Memphis, Missouri 63555.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria of Memphis; two sons, Timothy R. Fincher and his wife, Debbie of Greentop, Missouri and Terry Fincher and his wife Lynn, of Memphis, Missouri. Also surviving is a grandson and five granddaughters and six great grandchildren and many friends.
